Photo post

The Dark Heresy roleplaying game I'm in just now involves a murder investigation on board a spaceship. We've been spending far too much time going over the evidence and trying to connect it all, so last night, someone turned up with...a whiteboard. OF COURSE! How on earth were we ever supposed to solve the case without it? We, er, might have got a bit carried away...

First things first: the Imperial Aquila and the Inquisitorial crest.

Post-Its! Of multiple colours!

Dammit, get the pinboard out too - we have EVIDENCE.

Still, we kept the DM entertained...

I was still up at about five this morning, and there was an amazing sunrise.

Bowling is fun.

And a few photos I liked from London.

Fabulous chalk art - sort of Escher/Cthulhu. Worth clicking through to the bigger size.

Grafitti! It started with the bolt on the gate becoming the top eye, and expanded from there.

I really like this photo, for some reason. It's not exactly exciting, but...

My books banner has disappeared off my journal, for some reason. I'm going to assume it's LJ playing silly buggers, because my default icon disappeared the other day, but it's come back. Anyone else having image issues?

That big star in the middle of the whiteboard is cracking me up. Didja solve it?

I have to agree with you about the White City photo. I think it's because it looks like it's overlaid onto the background train. The displacement matches up and everything.

We didn't solve it, but I think we're getting there o_O

Yeah, I think it's the displacement and the perspective and stuff all matching up.

The White City one is good. It's the way that the name part of the roundel follows the same line of perspective as the tube, and the colours match.

Ah, yes, and the bottom of the name part matches up exactly with the bottom of the tube carriages.

Yay me! I, er, did that on purpose, y'know...

Ooo; we have a whiteboard in our roleplaying den; maybe I'll suggest using it next time we're stuck. Which should be anytime soon, I imagine.

Love the chalk pavement art. It's been a long time since I've seen any.

*now has the urge to sneak into a side street in the city centre and chalk a white murder victim outline to freak people out*

It's very handy. Well, it makes you feel like you're getting somewhere, anyway!

I actually saw the guy just starting the pavement art on the Friday, and thought it looked good, and then on the Saturday he was across the street and had finished his chalking there. It's ace! I do like chalk outlines, though. I bet people walk round them, too, rather than over them.

The only reason your header image should disappear without losing the other formatting is if Flickr messes up, not LJ. Remote hosted images do that sometimes, not much you can do to stop it, at least everything else is still clearly visible.

I was going to have a look to see what was up, but I procrastinated and it came back all on its own. Yay!
