Snapecorn!

dermfitz made me a unisnape! Whee!

snapecorn

And I spent £70 on amazon.

"Reading Like a Writer: A Guide for People Who Loves Books and for Those Who Want to Write Them" - Francine Prose
"The English Language: A Guided Tour of the Language" - David Crystal
"Unweaving the Rainbow: Science, Delusion and the Appetite for Wonder" - Richard Dawkins
"The, like, Language Report" - Susie Dent
"How Novels Work" - John Mullan
"What Good Are the Arts?" - John Carey
"Dancing Barefoot" - Wil Wheaton
"Just a Geek" - Wil Wheaton
"The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason" - Sam Harris
"Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent" - Anthony Rapp

I just popped on to get Unweaving the Rainbow and the How Novels Work one, which I'd seen at the book festival and think looks fabulous. But you know, it's amazon. Bah.

Yes, work is terribly busy. How did you guess?

OK, actual content: congrats to ianmcdonald on his Hugo, whoo! I see that I haven't read any of the book winners. I've seen both the TV and cinema winners (Doctor Who ep Girl in the Fireplace, and film Pan's Labyrinth) and wasn't THAT impressed with either of them. Though I'm thankful Doomsday didn't win, I suppose. And I see Scalzi didn't manage to take the fan writer award off Dave Langford, heh.

righto. It doesn't appear to be on this laptop, but it's at home. You want Fragile Things (read by Neil) too?

*flails* That'd be fantastic!

I dunno if I have anything you want, but if I mention anything, just shout :)

no problem. I went to the trouble of recording the audio CDs (from the DRM-crippled audible.co.uk audiobook), so would rather someone got some more use out of it!
