Drive-by TV recommendation

There's a documentary on BBC Three tonight at half ten called The C Word, about, er, the C word. (I'm being considerate of work filters here!) I've seen the first half of it and it's pretty good. It talks about social, linguistic, historical, feminist and literary issues surrounding it.

The Mail on Sunday thinks the BBC shouldn't be spending "licence payers' money" on this filth, of course. Heh.

Tell that to your user pic! :D

(Yes, yes, I know that text filters won't pick up graphical text embedded in a photo.)

Yep! Especially because they use it in the show to demonstrate attitudes to the word :D The article's here.

Hmm, it would appear that the Mail is another site that I can't load properly on this machine/connection,s ame for the Metro. Weird, I'm guessing they're on the same servers, maybe Talk Talk doesn't like them or something.

A point in Talk Talk's favour if so, it has to have a few I suppose...

Well, I'm certainly tempted now.

Of course it's a well known fact that only Daily Mail readers actually pay for a TV licence. Anyone who likes this sort of thing is a filthy freeloader:)

They can spend my money on "this filth" and welcome to it.

God, I hate the Mail.
