Fry Bee

The lamps we have at work are very, very hot.

Today a very, very large bumblebee was tootling about the office, slightly to my concern. It got stuck in the outside of the lamp. Colleague 1 held the window open wide, while Colleague 2 tried to poke the bee towards the window with a laminate. Unfortunately it got scared, and buzzed frantically to the centre of the lamp. Where it...sort of fried. There's now a fairly nasty smell.

(Now I can't work out how to get my text beside the picture. Odd. It usually does it automatically.)

Poor bee. :-( My mother picks them up in her hands and puts them out; she's never been stung. She seems to have a way of calming them.

Aww :) I'd be too scared to try that. I do feel sorry for the one we just fried, though!

No, it's just a normal light as far as I know! The janitor guy says it's 260 watts though, which is a *lot*.

aww poor bee.

We get lots of bee's in our garden, they're enormous and shouldn't be able to leave the ground. Like the one's we found at Hell's Mouth when you were down, but they always disappear when pooka_joe turns up so he thinks I'm inventing them. :(

Anyway, that made me think, maybe if you simply don't believe they'll come in - they wont. It works for him....

Hope you're well hon :)

Oh, god, those were huge! This one was just about as big but less agressive. Or at least less attracted to me :D

I'm good, hope you are too!
