Bloodbath

I bought a new computer from the Dell Factory Shop on ebay. And lo, it is very shiny. Dual core Athlon 64 processor! 2048mb RAM! Huge hard drive! Yay. I need to buy a wireless modem separately, I think, but otherwise, I'm impressed. Apparently paying is a bit of a nightmare - you have to phone the 0870-number call centre for ages - but I'll do that tomorrow. Possibly from the work phone.

Went to the pub last night (eventually) and Succeeded At Small Talk, which was nice. Met a bunch of people I hadn't seen in a couple of years. Ex-boyfriend told me I still smelled the same, which boggled me slightly, but it turned out I used to use coconut shampoo, and now I'm using coconut moisturiser. And there were a bunch of am-dram people there who I don't like much, but they managed to amuse me too, one by being just as unlikeable as ever, and another one by coming and kissing me randomly on the head. But she was very drunk. And then a few people came back here and I made two of the best guitarists of my acquaintance play Guitar Hero, which they sucked mightily at. Hee.

Yesterday afternoon I dyed my hair and slightly Jackson Pollocked the bath:

Doctor Who ratings: 8.2 million viewers on the overnights, as compared to 8.0 million last year. That'll probably go up to about 8.5 when the time-shifted stuff is factored in (ie people who taped it, etc). Oddly, when I checked the ratings for New Earth, I discovered that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was on last year, too - it was on at the same time as Who last night.

The bath looks more like the aftermath of "Psycho" (said she sitting with henna in her hair - expect a brown bath afterwards!)

Deary me, what have I told you about inviting Sylar round for tea? And trust me, the "it's only hairdye!" excuse never works. They always test the samples. Tsk tsk.

That's because ITV know they don't stand a chance. And clearly have very little creative flair, ergo that Grease programme. Woe for them.

Really? I thought it was a pretty desperate attempt when I noticed it last night, but I'm even more scornful now I know they've tried it two years in a row.

What's even lamer is that the most recent film to hit terrestrial television is Prisoner of Azkaban, the third in the series, yet they choose to screen the second. Why?!
