Ooh a double rainbow. Very pretty.

I have once seen a triple rainbow but that was about 10 years ago over Darvel.

When I lived in Barassie (just down the road from Troon) we got doubles all the time, and triples quite regularly. I'm always surprised that rainbows are rare, now.

Yeah, I do always seem to see more down there than I do in Glasgow. don't know if it's just a coastal thing, or something specific about the hill shapes or something...

Yeah, or it may just be something to do with the fact that it rains, just a little bit, all the damned time.

Ooh, that is nice! And I imagine probably even brighter than it seems in the photo, since they never quite come out the way they look in real life, do they? I hope you made a wish!

Yeah, it was amazingly bright!

I'm not sure I've ever wished on rainbows! I may start...

Wow, cool! It's so neat how the light is brighter on one side of the rainbow and darker on the other.

Yeah, I'm not sure if that's a trick of the photo or if it was actually like that!

It probably is explainable through physics or something, but I don't know any physics :)
