TV

Just last night I was playing Guitar Hero and lamenting the lack of anything decent on telly. And it turns out I was wrong! Just tonight, we have Top Gear, Buzzcocks, Dragons' Den (well, it's OK), Super-Slim Me on BBC3 (documentary on a British size 12 girl trying to get to a Hollywood 0, looks pretty funny as well as very freaky - she harasses the fashion industry a bit, too), the Breakfast Club after that, a decent Storyville on BBC4 - Godless America - and hopefully a repeat of this week's Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe, that I missed... New series of Never Mind The Full Stops starts next week, too.

And it's only either four and a half or five and a half weeks till New Who. I think. (Looks like the 17th or 24th March it starts again.)

Of course, I'm going out for dinner tonight, so whether I get to see any of this is debatable...never mind!

Also, my flat is pretty much spotless and tidy. Everyone should come round and see it while this is the case. And, there were men round fixing the boiler the other day (it was working, but the pilot ignition wasn't, so they came round to put a new part in so I can turn the pilot light on myself if it goes out again) and am I a bit old to be realising there's A HUGE ENORMOUS FIRE in my boiler? I thought there was just the little light. I have no idea how I thought it heated things, no.

There's something very charming about that paragraph! :)

(It was only a few years ago that I realized that ballpoint pens have a ball in the, umm, point...so I can't exactly point fingers, hee hee.)

Hee :) I kind of like when I suddenly realise things like that, even though I'm also embarrassed about it; I'm sure there must be millions of things that I should know but just haven't thought about enough (ie at all) to figure out.

Ah, cheers! Did you see Buzzcocks? It was good...I quite like Donnie Tourette, he's cute. In a small cute animal way, rather than an "ooh, he's cute" way...

Yes, and it made me laugh to the point of pain!

Though I was a bit annoyed and baffled about them beeping out the first few 'fuck's in the studio. It's not like anybody watching Buzzcocks doesn't know what to expect, and they had LOADS of them ten minutes later in the film clip of Donny. Rock n Roll! (With the hand gesture!)

Yeah, I noticed that too, it was very weird :D

LOVED the hand gestures.

I had a physics teacher in school who thought that central heating was superheated gas...

So your not alone in being in the dark as to how heating systems work ;)

Haven't seen it yet, but since it's BBC3 it's repeated about four times, so I should manage soon!
