What's the time on the Tikkabilla clock?

Disturbingly, I think they've actually managed to dumb down Tikkabilla.

Digital Spy, my discussion forum of choice, has started being hideously heavy-handed with its bans and thread deletions. (And the first rule of DS is: Don't talk about DS.) Anyone got any recommendations for good general discussion forums that aren't moderated practically out of existence?

I never saw Tikkabilla until a week or two ago; I'm struck by how like Playschool it is! Very odd to see stuffed animals going round under the clock, or the arched window. I keep looking for the cockatoo.

Tikkabilla: dumbed down? I'm shocked at the suggestion. (Dumbed down is a relative concept and next to "Me too" with "Granny Murray" and it's cannibalistic approach to children's TV with bits from Balamory, Tikkabilla, Boo, The Shiny SHow, TWeenies, and Fimbles thorwn in a pot in the hope it produces something appetising, Tikkabilla remains a bastion of Watch with MOther-ism) And such a suggestion is surely scurrilous when made at a time when one of the leads is breaking out for stardom in Death and the Penguin on Radio Three.

Me Too is kind of disturbing, somehow. Especially that, if you watch carefully, you'll notice that the "other" children in the episodes often change halfway through, sometimes to children of an entirely different gender or colour, and nobody seems to notice.

Tomorrow morning's Tikkabilla, they read the story twice. And do a really patronising thing about colours - I mean, it would patronise a two-year-old, I think. I used to quite like Tikkabilla!
