One-word characters

So, I love Pickwick and her "Plock!"s, of coure, and redatt has reminded me that I also love Gleep from Robert Asprin's Myth books, and his "Gleep!"s. Are there any other characters who only have a one-word vocabulary? I'm sure there must be, but I can't think of them offhand. And I want to make an icon.

I've only seen Buck Rogers once or something...don't remember it much. What does Twiki say?

Twiki usually goes "twiki-twiki" (I think), so I'm not really sure it it counts. It's a single word, but it's repeated.

Wilfred the penguin almost always says "hic!", but he doesn't strictly count as he can occasionally say other things. :-)

I think, if I remember correctly, that there was also "garp", from "The World According to Garp".
Garp's natural father, thus wounded(braindamage)that it was the only word he could still pronounce.

It's so long since I read Garp, I don't remember much of it at all. That sounds distinctly possible, though!

Do you know, I can't remember. Re-reading is in order, I feel.

Can't believe no-one's mentioned it already - "Blert", from Pixel, the Cat Who Walks Through Walls (in various late-Heinlein books).

I don't know about characters, but I had an ex-girlfriend who only ever said "no".
