Very busy

There's still not much work to do (this doesn't happen all that often, honest - it's all the World Cup's fault, cos that's subtitled live), so I've spent a decent proportion of the afternoon updating my LibraryThing. I've added a bunch more books and tagged everything. Can't believe I've only got 250 books on it. I've been sitting trying to think what books I possess - it's so much harder than it should be!

The postman came with about a billion parcels for me this morning, cos I ordered half a dozen or so books from an Amazon marketplace seller who sent them all separately. Poor postman looked upset - he'd had to more or less have a bag for me alone. I have the next three Harry Dresden books - good timing, as I just lent the first three to laerad the other night. Thanks again to magda_vogelsang and dakegra for the recommendation - I've been recommending them and lending them to various people. I also got a David Crystal book, The Stories Of English, and another couple I seem to have forgotten already. And a spare battery for my phone, because if I use it as an mp3 player then it runs out of battery alarmingly quickly.

Veronica Mars update: Had to download codecs to make some of them work (didn't see the comment on my last entry until too late). Now they work, technically, but they seem to be vewy vewy quiet, even with the program volume, the computer volume and the speaker volume all up full. I'm expecting this to be something very simple to fix.

Do you think it was a good idea to tell everyone about LibraryThing? :-)

*goes off to catalogue some more books*

Sorry about that :o)

I started cataloguing ages ago and then forgot about it, but I've got back into it again now. And getting pedantic about finding the right edition.
