Attention span: 0

Meh, I hate evil Mondays. I only get them occasionally, thankfully, because of the shift thing. But today I have a ten-hour shift starting at 8am after not more than four hours sleep because I got up far too late yesterday, so couldn't get to sleep. I have a sore throat, too. Whine, whine, whine.

Good weekend, though. Saw a friend I haven't seen in aaages, and had lunch, and did some shopping. Then played a lot of snowboarding and watched Doctor Who. I quite liked the episode at the time, but in the shower this morning, I couldn't remember what had happened in it AT ALL. I mean, there was the three hours of sleep thing, but still. My memory's been jogged now by my comms, but I should probably watch it again anyway. I get to the stage where I've read too many reviews of them, and kind of lose *my* opinion in among everyone else's. Plus I'm starting to wonder with this season if I'm not going to be able to judge it at all till I've seen the whole lot - I think there's a lot more arc-y stuff.

My Myspace has turned into a Myspace UK. Does this make any actual difference? If I'd had the choice, I'd have preferred to stay international...

MySpace: it might mean I stop getting offers of marriage from Ukrainians, or money from Nigerians. That's all there bloody is on MySpace, at least it seems to me.

Doctor Who I thought was really good, but I had a fridge moment: wasn't it terribly convenient that they always entered her life in chronological order?

I may be wrong, but I think there was a suggestion that the robots were progressively opening window after window into her life and the farther you got from the control room the later.

True, I thought of that after I posted. They were trying to get closer and closer to the right age.

Ah...I really must watch it again!

I'm only on myspace to download people's music, I haven't tried to interact at all. Probaby just as well...

(fridge moment?")

It's a term Alfred Hitchcock invented. It's when you get home from the flicks, you open the fridge to get something, and you think 'hang on...'

A plot hole that you don't notice till later, basically.

Is it just the domain name that changed, or the site itself?

Domain name hasn't changed, but if you go to myspace.com from a UK ip address you get MySpace UK - not much difference, but there's UK adverts and a focus on UK things. The site's so cluttered I can't really tell what else has changed!
