So, how is everyone? 2006 for me so far is...quite good, actually! I'm at work, which is bad, but it's all sunny and blue-skyed, and I have coffee and irn-bru and croissants, and a film to subtitle that's in Italian, already subtitled, so basically I have to watch it. (The Damned - very cheery!) And we get nice food and probably champagne later on.
Just checked my email and found this:

Hurrah! Definite approval. Last night we were determinedly un-festive - we watched CSI. Nick was being Intense. And we watched the Fireball ceremony thing from Stonehaven, which wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped. And then I went to bed.
The other excitement of yesterday was...I bought a skirt! It's long and different shades of purple and very funky. (Note: I don't do skirts. This is the first skirt I've had that wasn't a school skirt, since I was about 11. Whenever I've had to wear a skirt - for theatre shows or choir appearances at school mostly - people start commenting amazedly that Caz Has Legs!!!) I have no intention of leaving the house in it, but it's a start.

You don't have to do skirts, because I don't do trousers, so it all evens out!
I highly recommend FFX if you like Final Fantasy games.
And Katamari Damacy (though I'm told they never brought out Katamari Damacy for PS2s over on your side of the pond :( Though they did bring the sequel We Love Katamari which is just as much fun.
