Company Names

So, we're very bored today. Not sure why, but many episodes of Eggheads could have something to do with it. We've been told our company will have a new name by the end of the month (or possibly the end of next month). We think it'll have something to do with fish. (I'm not sure why. I may have missed a memo, or my department might have gone insane. Either or.) We thought maybe "Carp", and then we could have T-shirts like the FCUK ones.

Anyway. Question of the Day. What would YOU call a media company that does subtitles n' that sort of thing, technical stuff, and makes trailers and adverts?

You'd get people calling up ordering chicken tikka salad on ciabatta.

Heh. It sounds like a kind of upmarket film, actually - Titles And The Like.

I'd call it the Subtitle & Media Co., but marketing people would call it Reederz. Or perhaps Riterz. @ symbols may be involved.

Yep, we're fairly sure there's going to be random punctuation involved. And then they'll find that that causes a hideous problem with the email addresses, and things.

Yup.

Because I for one would choose a company that can't spell to do subtitles.

Sadly marketting people don't think that way.

Hee! We've used most of those as names for our pub-quizzing teams, cos that was our naming convention :o) Substandard would be good!
