Sugar Daddy

Good Telly: I got 61/70 on the Test The Nation Know Your English test. Yay me. And I should've got one or two more...never mind. (A mischief of mice? REALLY? I used to have pet mice, and I've never heard this.)

Bad Telly: They kicked cute ickle James out of X Factor! Nooo! We're sulking.

In the past week, I complained so much about having a life that it went away again - 3 out of 4 of my engagements got cancelled. Ooops. Stop whining, me. But it meant I got to read Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys, the three new Doctor Who books, and Going Postal. (After I found it. It was face down on my floor, and the back cover doesn't look like a Pratchett book AT ALL.)

Anansi Boys was fab! It's got quite a basic, almost child-like style at first, but it takes that deep into some kinda-freaky-horror stuff, which is weird and cool. And it's about stories, and songs. And I'm going to re-read American Gods, then re-read Anansi Boys. Going Postal is the best Pterry I'd read in a while, too. I think I like Vimes better when he only gets vaguely mentioned twice in the whole book. And, yay, another book about the power of words.

Gummy Bears

You may be smooshie and taste unnatural, but you're so darn cute.

Hee. Gummi Bears. Bouncing here and there and everywhere. High adventure that's beyond compare. I am the Gummi Bears. (All of 'em.) Of course, Gummi Bears make me think of Hedwig And The Angry Inch, so now I have to listen to it. All together: I put on some make-up / Turn on the tape deck...

I did the quiz, though only got 52, though think this was down to getting distracted by the anecdotes from Hell that filled the programme, that plus turning over to watch Robert Lindsey on 'Parkinson' on other side didnt help!..Opps..

They don't have UK candy or I think I'd be a sour apple. I think I can live with being a tootsie roll.

I love Hedwig.

Yes! You must...he wrote Good Omens with Terry Pratchett, and the Sandman series is one of the best comics series ever.
