Scott Ritter, the former UN weapons inspector to Iraq and at one time a US marine, warned in apocalyptic terms in London last night of a US-led attack on Iran... (Read more) Urk. He was the one who said we wouldn't find any weapons in Iraq, btw.

Knit a womb! Not in any way disturbing. Honest.

I'm so glad we're out of the BBC - it just seems to be descending into farce. (I didn't get this email from Mark Thompson. This was the first time I've noticed that we haven't been getting the weekly emails either, for the past, ooh, two months. They're dead interesting, honest.)

I'm inclined to think that Thompson, Humphreys and Grade deserve one another.

On the other hand, the things that Humphreys said about the New Labour gang are no more and no less than what everybody else says about them.

Yeah, I do feel a little sorry for Humphrys about that, because pretty much everyone in the country has probably said worse!
