Heh, I made a roleplaying journal. For my Vampire character. It's opensaysme.I feel very geeky. spiderpixie, mind_expander - you can look if you want, but only OOC ;o))

It came into my head because I was making a community for the game, too, so we can keep in touch and the DM can post sort of in-betweeny bits. And then I started laying with it. I'm thinking of using it for Nano if I decide to do THAT this year...not sure if it would officially qualify, but it would in my head.

Ooh, we saw Sin City last night. It's wonderful. Everything is so stylized and pretty....I lovedit so much I bought the DVD off pooka_joe immediately. Cos he had another one coming through this morning. Heh. And Howl's Moving CAstle is out at the cinema and I MUST go and see it. But I seem to have Plans this week, and am working late, and stuff. Argh.

Howl's Moving Castle = WOW GOOD GO SEE! :) I loved it. Calcifer was my favoritest character XD

In my, ever so humble opinion, and as an ML for Nano, I think that journal would certainly count. From reading that first entry, if you continued in that vein I see no reason for that not to count as a Nano novel. With the caveat that you don't use anything written before November starts, that is.

I briefly considered a journal-ed novel myself. Maybe next year. *grin*

Hmmm...definitely something to think about, then! Cool.

(Calcifer is great. Have you read the book? You should read the book...)

I have not. I must add it to my list.

oooh i never heard of NANO before. i may well take part if i can drag myself away from the new canterbury tales. it looks cool!

i mut say pick' that you seem to be an excellent barometer of stuff i am gonna like: ebay stuff, geeky websites and now weird literary challenges.

Hehe did I ever tell you about my hundredwords community, where you have to write 100 words for 100 consecutive days? i've never managed to do it, mind you...

You could use NC stuff for nano, you know. Not stuff you've written out already, but anything you've only got notes for or ideas or whatever.

oh really?

in which case you may find a hell of a lot of NC tales posted over october :)

You're pondering to do NaNo? Wow.

I would so do it, if only Novermber wasn't the most notoriously busy month of my academic year.

Sin City, How's Moving Castle... both on my list of Movies To See, along with Mirrormask. Yay.

Yeah...I started it a couple of years ago, but I didn't really get very far. This year I think I'll see what ideas and notes I have by the beginning of November, and how busy work is looking, before I decide!
