Charlie Brooker Is Right About Everything

This is disturbingly catchy. By The Attery Squash, who seem like my kind of thing, going by the two tracks I've heard. I downloaded the song legally (whoa!) from the 7Digital indiestore, which looks like it would be great if I still knew as much about music as I used to.

(I don't know where I acquired a liking for electropop; I blame Belle and Sebastian's brief forays into the genre, and then Helen Love. (And I don't think I've ever seen the video for Long Live The UK Music Scene before. Looks like it cost about £3.50 to make, but I love it.))

Play.com are also doing DRM-free legal music downloads now, so I'll probably start actually buying music again. Hurray!

Saxon v Brooker. Even better than Obama v Hillary.

Jerry Sadowitz is more right about everything, anyway.

I've never seen much Jerry Sadowitz, oddly. I really should rectify that.

That was produced by Rick from Spray. You should probably give them a go also. The inevitable Myspork page is here and there are a few more songs here. I second the Sadowitz recommendation too.

Ooh, excellent. I wonder when people will move on from myspace...

I know. It's so 2006, isn't it? Apparently folk are getting pissed off with Facebook already. Oh, what it must be to be fashionable and up-to-the-minute.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what it would take to shift people off Myspace, because I have no idea what sort of rampant insanity made them start using the benighted thing in the first place.

In addition to it being produced by Rick from Spray/Cuban Boys/disturbing connection to Daz Sampson fame, the singer is flamingkitties of this parish. Hurrah.

Hurrah! I did read on the webpage about the Cuban Boys connection, heh. And noticed you were one of their top myspace friends!
