William Shakespeare

Thus the whirligig of time brings in his pickwick.

Ha.

I think I need my ear syringed. It's been bugging me for days now. But I've been advised to try dripping oil in it first, so I'll see if I can acquire some on the way home tonight...

There was a fire along the street earlier, which was quite exciting. Or more exciting than Songs of Praise, anyway. At Strathclyde Police's old car pound. Lots of scary thick black smoke, but it was fun to watch the guy up on the hydraulic lift with the super-hose. We didn't have to be evacuated, unfortunately.

This might sound bizarre, but have you ever tried an ear candle? They do work, but you definitely need someone to help you do it!

Interesting, thanks for that! When I did one, you basically here a crackling sensation, and my ears did "pop" and feel more clear. Maybe it was just the heat and relaxation?

Darned new agers...

Erk, looks like I could get into a lot of trouble with one of those! I can see myself setting my brain on fire or something :D

I didn't know it, I've only seen the film of Twelfth Night, really. But I liked it a lot!

There was a rumour on digital spy - the News of the World said it was true, but apparently the BBC had denied it. Oooh. I don't know if I'd like that or not - it depends if it explained why the Doctor suddenly looked like the Master, I guess!

I had to get my ear syringed last year, it was wicked (though the gack that came out was naaaaasty) do you ever get that weird itch somewhere between your ear and the back of your mouth that can't be scratched??? It totally sorts it :) And the being able to hear afterwards is the best thing ever, just be prepared to feel really off balance and no sudden movements in case you fall over ;)

Hope the oil works though!

The oil seems to be working now, though I might go and get them syringed anyway, people keep telling me it's great!
